Review: Stork OTC

October 5, 2017 5 Comments

This is a sponsored conversation from Mums the Word Network and The Stork OTC. All opinions are my own.

When deciding to have children, I researched everything. I searched everywhere, asked everyone I knew that were parents and willing to discuss their journey. I wanted to know as much as I could before going forward. With our first, Birdie, we got pregnant – no issue. Becoming pregnant with Tot, was a surprise. As a breastfeeding mother and no cycle – we had no clue what was going on.

The whole process is tricky. No one expects to have problems or run into issues. You have to make sure you’re ovulating and having sex on the right days. Are we doing it right? How much sperm is actually needed? Did enough sperm actually make it to where it needs to go? Was it even high enough?

It’s hard. You need healthy sperm to make it to an egg. Not only that, but during ovulation. So what if I told you there’s an OTC kit that helps with the conception process? And it’s available at your local Target, CVS and online at StorkOTC.com for $59.99!

The Stork OTC is the only FDA cleared conception device that helps you get pregnant during ovulation. It comes with 2 pieces: a cap that holds the semen and an applicator (kind of like a tampon). After the semen is collected in the cap, it gets placed near the woman’s cervix. It stays there for about 6 hours and then it is removed.

So in all, you purchase a kit. Wash your hands and apply the “condom” to your partner. Have natural intercourse. Attach the cervical cap with semen to the applicator and apply. Leave in for about 6 hours – go on with your day. Remove with string (kind of like a tampon).

Here’s a full length video on how it works:

  • I volunteered in my daughter’s classroom for Thanksgiving. I helped on the food line so I had to tie Dumpling to my back and make turkey sandwiches. We do teach the kids that we don’t actually celebrate Thanksgiving, and the teachers discussed the truth with the kids. I’m glad I didn’t have to step in like previous years 🤦🏽‍♀️⁣

My tote bag from @shopkindredtogether is my favorite though. I’m able to fit everything in there. A quick link to the shop is in my profile & you can use code APRILOCT to save 💰 ⁣

  • We were so lucky to be able to check out the Flip & Spin for the Win bundle - thanks to @PowerYourFun. The bundle included Laser Launchers (which I can’t pry out of Tot’s hands), the Mini Cyclone Stunt Car, and Turbo Tops Gyro Cars - which you see pictured here. These are our favorite part of the bundle, the kiddos are constantly try to do tricks with them. ⁣

  • Yesterday was my birthday! I’m thirty-something (the something is silent 🤪) and it was a good day. A made it back from a 10 day trip just in time to celebrate. The kids were so excited to make mom’s day fun. ⁣⁣

My sister always grabs a red velvet bundt cake for me and I love it. It’s my favorite. My grandmother used to bake me a red velvet cake every year when I was younger and it’s important to me to have it. ⁣

Here’s to another revolution around the sun ☀️
  • I posted about the awesome @pjmasks PJ Masks Seeker about a month ago. I grabbed it at @target and kept it hidden until it was Tot’s birthday. He had already completely forgotten about it & it was a wonderful surprise to open on his day 🎂 He’s been playing with it nonstop and his sisters keep trying to get a turn. ⁣

Thank you to MomSelect for gifting us this toy. It’s the perfect toy for this @pjmasks obsessed family. #ad⁣

  • My middle child. My wild child. He’s officially 5 years old and 1 day. I tried to make sure he had a fun filled day yesterday and now I’m exhausted. This year he decided he didn’t like cake and asked for donuts instead 🍩 ⁣

Happy birthday Tot 💕
  • We saved this Star Wars coding kit for Tot’s birthday and it was a hit! He was totally interested in putting it together and making things work. He’s my little tinker. ⁣

We melted at the pumpkin patch this weekend. Now we are hiding from smoke and hoping our power doesn’t go out. ⁣

How’s your weekend treating you?
  • Prism Black went live today and I’m so excited for them to get their new homes. This kaleidoscope weave is so grippy and textured. It really locks those passes in tight. 🌈 💎⁣

  • Corn mazes are our favorite 🌽 We try to stop at one every year and grab some photos at the pumpkin patch. The kids love the corn pit. I love listening to them get along and discuss the corn maze map and answer the trivia so we know which way to go. Such a great adventure. ⁣
